STANDARD WIPING STAINS
Hand-Applied, Exposure of Wood Grain.
A wiping stain finish is achieved by over-applying the stain color and then wiping it off before it dries. It achieves a finish that is far more natural in appearance than standard spray stains.
A wiping stain showcases the wood grain and celebrates the natural variations in wood tones.

STANDARD SPRAY STAINS
Uniform, Even Stain Application.
Standard stain finishes are achieved through a steady and evenly applied stain using spray stain guns. In contrast to a wiping stain, the spray stain is left to dry and provides more coverage to the wood grain. Darker stain finishes tend to soften the look of the wood grain.

DISTRESSED FINISH
Aged & Weathered.
To distress the finish, the sander is used on the surface of the furniture, once the paint has dried.
With an emphasis on the edges, a gentle sanding distresses the paint and lacquer allowing the
underlying base color and/or raw wood to show through.
ANTIQUE FINISH
Scratches, Notches, and Dents.
An antique finish is a process by which we notch, dent, and strike the wood to give the appearance of an aged piece of furniture, adding depth and character.

- Due to natural variations in wood, the actual grain and finish may vary slightly.
- For maintenance, dust or wipe with a damp clean cloth, using water only.
NAILHEAD COLORS
Nailheads are individually, hand-applied. Pavar’s standard ½” diameter nailheads are an available option on most models.

NAILHEAD SPACING
Pavar allows for flexibility in the spacing application of nailheads.
Standard spacing is 1″ center-to-center.
Natural spacing is available upon request and incurs a surcharge.

L-SHAPPED GUARDRAILS
CHROME L-SHAPED – included, standard option.
A chrome L-shaped guardrail is included on the front stretcher for all barstools and ADA stools.
Brass and black L-shaped guardrails are available and will incur a surcharge.
The option to install guardrails on the back and side stretchers is available and will incur a surcharge.
Custom guardrail finishes are available upon request and will incur a surcharge and longer lead-times.

NYLON GLIDES – included, standard option.
Nylon glides are included on all models and are for use on most flooring surfaces.
METAL GLIDES – available option, incurs a surcharge.
Metal glides are for use on carpet flooring only and will incur a surcharge.
FELT GLIDES – available option, incurs a surcharge.
Felt glides are for use on wood flooring only and will incur a surcharge.
VINYL – CHALLENGER
These featured selections are Grade 1. Pavar cannot warranty the performance of the options listed below.
Customer’s Own Material (COM) is another option.
High resistance cleaning – bleach friendly.
Challenger has the soft feel of leather and demonstrates both durability and strength.

- CONTENT: 100% Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC)
- BACKING CONTENT: 100% Polyester
- CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS: Bleach-friendly, dilution ratios must be followed. Most stains can be cleaned with mild soap and water. Always rinse with fresh water to remove residue and wipe dry with a clean cloth.
WOVEN FABRIC – LOUIS
Louis has the appearance of a basket weave woven texture that is timeless in style.

- ABRASION: 440,000 Double Rubs
- CONTENT: 100% Polyester
- BACKING CONTENT: 100% Acrylic Kiss Coat
- CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS: Clean fabrics with water-based cleaning agents
VELVET – FRANKLIN 2nd EDITION
Franklin has a velvet-look texture and brings a sense of sophistication and luxury to any design.

- CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS: Clean with water-based cleaning agents only, do not use Solvent cleaners.
